In another clip, White, following a commercial break, rethinks an earlier refusal to answer Lawrence’s question of what she would say to Gloria Cain, Herman’s wife. I have to say, Ms. White seemed entirely credible, and there was nothing in her story that sounded either phony, or like a woman looking for a payday. How Cain gets out of this is beyond me. And how he faces his wife, after pushing her out front on Fox News to defend his character, knowing all the while that she was completely unaware that he was, at minimum, making monthly financial payments to another woman, for more than a decade — well that’s just flabbergasting.
